3. It will be necessary for you to become an adept advertiser and be able to tell whether the advertising you are paying for is producing more income for you than the advertising is costing you.

4. It is necessary that you have good mathematical skills. You will need to be able to track your sales and determine profit, as well as, see to it that your suppliers are paid in full and on time.

5. You need the full and unwavering support of your family so that you can devote the time and energy necessary to launch your affiliate marketing business.

You really need to find a niche for affiliate marketing. What happens is people find your website through search engines, and then access affiliate marketing through your website. It is a very saturated business right now, so good luck whatever you decide.

I am thinking about using affiliate marketing on my website, where I’m selling an e-book. I don’t know much about it, but was wondering if anyone’s used it before and what things I should consider before going ahead with it.

Find out if there is an affiliate program related to the book you want to sell. If it’s an ebook, you’ll most likely find it on clickbank. If it’s a hard copy, you could join any merchant that offers this book and has an affiliate or partner program (amazon, barnes&nobles,…).
Then you place your referral link on your website, each time someone clicks on your link and buys, you get a commission.

The hardest thing will be to get traffic to your site, starting out I would definitely recommend article marketing as this doesn’t cost you anything. You write articles related to the product you’re selling and then link them to your website/blog with the review.

You can start with affiliate marketing for free, so apart from the time and effort you have to put in, there really is nothing to lose.

My knowledge is broad and am good at Internet search to find information, my writing skill is strong. Wondering how I could earn some extra income through my free time.

A couple of suggestions:

[1] Build your own web site for Q/A and hope to attract people to come and earn online ads revenue. Lots of work though.

[2] Try to use a blog site to write and post articles that will attract people to come. You could also earn some money by using online ads, such as Google AdSense. However, attract web traffic is a challenge.

[3] Use other web sites that offer online ads revenue sharing program. One of the sites is Wisteme, a collaborative quesion/answer website. It shares half of the online ads revenue with its contributors. It also offers free contributor ads for every Q/A contribution you make.

I have a master's degree and make about 45,000 a year. My husband works however, his paycheck is hardly nothing about $700 per month. We have one child and one due in December. I would like some realistic ideas on how I can make some extra money possibly from home or on the weekend. My husband has searched for other jobs, but he only has a high school diploma and the town we live in is very small and hardly hiring. With our bills, (just the basics rent, power, etc.) we are barely scraping by. Any suggestions?

It sounds like to me instead of looking for extra income, you should be cutting things out of your budget. You need to take a serious look at your budget. Ask yourself if there is anything you can cut back on, or things you are spending you money on that is not needed.

I know this may be difficult, and a lot of people don't want to "downgrade" their life style but it may be needed. Do you have a $400 a month car payment? If so sell your newer car and buy a reliable used car. What about rent? Can you move to a cheaper place? Do you have an expensive cable or cell phone plan? If so you can probably cancel both and save at least $150 a month.

Combined you two make nearly $4,000 a month. There is no reason why you should be "scraping by". My girlfriend goes to school full time and I am the only income. We live comfortable off of less then $30,000 a year and there is always plenty of room in the budget.

You really need to list all of your expenses per month and find out where you can cut back.
